Ears are organs for hearing and balance

The ear is divided into 3 sections:

• Outer Ear and ear canal help direct sound waves into ear
• Middle Ear, ear drum and several tiny bones turn sound waves into vibrations.
• Inner Ear receives the sound waves sent by middle ear

The ears are open to external environment and connected to the throat
